backgrounds, correct proportions, facial expression and shapes, and CLOTHES

the same face over and over. with different hair T.T

Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Traditional, although I prefer digital. I'm incompetent in both so it doesn't really matter lol

Where do you start drawing from?
always the head, although I usually draw a bubble skeleton if I'm drawing a person, and correct its proportion as I sketch

What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
i make weird faces when drawing

Any tips for coloring/shading?
if you do base colors first and then highlight/shade from there, it's pretty easy. although i can't say whether that's a good method lolfail

How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
a random doodle might take ten minutes, a spur of the moment sketch is about thirty minutes, preplanned sketch is maybe 15, and i do it on the computer and color it, it can take from one to three hours

What music do you listen to while you draw?
t.A.T.u., The Birthday Massacre, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Augustana, Gackt, One Winged Angel remixes (lol), Vocaloid...a bunch of different artists. Usually electronica, metal, alternative rock, or whatever's on the radio (taylor swift OH GAWD WHY)

How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
an idea can stem from a story idea I'm thinking about or it can just randomly pop into my head. The longest though was about thirty minutes

Your favorite drawing utensils?
0.5 pencil lead, my little white eraser, my Big Mistakes eraser that's bigger than my hand, and any kind of paper that doesn't have holes or tattered edges
on the computer i use PSE6 and, very rarely, Corel Painter 4

Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
red

Your favorite style(s)?
Frenchy styles, and also well done, non-generic anime and Disney/Dreamworks cartoons

What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I'm hoping to support myself as a novelist, but if I ever did take being an artist seriously, i might be an animator for Disney and make them do more traditionally animated films
